Welcome to the website of Brian Johnson

Here you can find the latest news, photos and videos from Brian’s racing and buy the audiobook of his autobiography, Rockers & Rollers, read by the author.

Please do not send any more things, photos, books, CD’s etc for Brian to sign. He has been overwhelmed by the thousands of letters that you have all already sent and sadly he has not had enough time to answer all these.

Music was my first love, And it will be my last – John Miles RIP

From everyone here at BrianJohnsonRacing.com, our sincere condolences to the family and friends of John Miles who sadly died on Sunday December 5th. 2021

John grew up in Hebburn near Newcastle and while a pupil at Jarrow Grammar School, Miles was a member of a local band called The Influence, which also included Paul Thompson, later drummer with Roxy Music; and Vic Malcolm, later lead guitarist with Geordie. It was through these two friends of Brian that the two singers first met. They remained friends ever since.

Brian says – “Our thoughts are with his wife Eileen, and John jr and Tanya the children, it must be a very sad time for them, as it is for us, and all of Newcastle. What a great talent he was. I will miss you John, always”.

My autobiography, The Lives of Brian, coming 26th October

I’ve had some long nights and some great nights, bad days and a lot of good ones. I’ve gone from choirboy to rock ‘n’ roll singer, and now I’ve gone and written a bloody book about it…  The Lives of Brian is coming October 26th: smarturl.it/TheLivesOfBrian

“Just a bit of fun – it was Brands Hatch, summer 2013, the pre 1966 Mini race – I was driving number 38 and moved from 19th on the grid, to finish 7th! A good day at the races!”

      Episode Guide

For 32 years we stood side by side on stage

I am saddened by the passing of my friend Malcolm Young, I can’t believe he’s gone.
We had such great times on the road.
I was always aware that he was a genius on guitar, his riffs have become legend, as has he.
I send out my love and sympathy to his wife Linda, his children Cara and Ross,
and Angus, who will all be devastated…. as we all are.
He has left a legacy that I don’t think many can match.
He never liked the celebrity side of fame, he was too humble for that.
He was the man who created AC/DC because he said “there was no Rock,n,Roll” out there.
I am proud to have known him and call him a friend, and I’m going to miss him so much.
      I salute you, Malcolm Young.
