The Academic Congregation is a time for celebration and an opportunity to recognise the hard work, commitment and enthusiasm of our graduating students. In addition to awading students, the University award a small number of Honorary Degrees to external individuals who have excelled in their field. Our policy is to only award one individual at a ceremony and not all cermonies have an Honorary Graduate, but we have three for this summer. We are delighted that Brian has accepted an Honorary Degree and this will be awarded alongside students from the Faculty of Engineering and Environment.
